Folks, between this account and Ayvuir-Blue, I've been around on DeviantArt since... geez, practically since it first started? At LEAST since 2006, for sure. That's 16 years on this site! It's unquestionably given me a lot of my current exposure, and a LOT of people who I'm still friends with to this day met me through this site. But y'know, there comes a point where you've gotta know when a site just isn't for you anymore. This site and I have been going in divergent directions lately; I can't post a good 3/4 of the stuff I currently draw here because DevArt's content moderation has been a joke for YEARS. But I think my actual point is this bold new initiative DevArt spun up today: AI-generated art has been a hot issue lately, and opinions on it are varied. Me, I appreciate it as a fun tool for generating goofy shitposts. I've had several folks ask if I plan on uploading the old art from my DevArt gallery to other sites, and y'know, the problem with that is that there's kind of a lot of it! I could ask 20 different people what they'd want me to upload and get 20 different answers- and I'd have forgotten all about 18 of them. I've been debating making this post for a while, but it's getting to the point where I have to say SOMETHING. Folks, I honestly appreciate every single one of you who's Watched me, Favorited my stuff, left a nice comment or even just found one of my pictures you particularly like without interacting at all, and I'm flattered that some of y'all like it enough to wanna pay me to draw something, but I DO NOT TAKE COMMISSIONS OR REQUESTS I'm not going to take them anytime in the foreseeable future, and I'm sorry, but your idea is most likely not gonna change my mind on that! Drawing has always been and always will be a hobby for me- I do it for fun in my spare time, whenever work, family and social obligations will allow. I have a full-time job I really enjoy that pays my bills, puts a roof over my head, food on the table, and leaves enough each month to have fun with. I don't need commission money- not nearly as much as a lot of other amazing artists on this site who DO take
